Ok, I might be late to the party but I'm looking to save $$$ on AK's by building my own kits.

Any links ? .......Centerfire has a special for AMD's - $169 with a chopped barrel.

I haven't seen shit lately AD. Been looking around for a lower and parts to try my hands on building an AR and I can't find jackshit.

Well, Florida Gun Works has lots of high priced shit if you don't mind them raping your wallet. :banghead:

They list an M70 Yugo Underfolder kit for $499.......then after the cost of shipping + a receiver you're up to $550+ and that's without Labor.

And those damned WASR models are running $399 a kit ~ the price of a completed weapon just a few months ago. :rant:

The best deal out there as far as AK's go is the Tantal. You should just get a Century Tantal or a Century AMD and forget about the AK kit guns.

The barrel ban has shot the prices up. Those G-kits that sold for less than a $100 last year I've seen sold for over $300 this year.

Avoid Florida Gun Works, I have never dealt with myself. They have a less than stellar reputation to put it nicely, this comes from numerous people on AR15.com, AKforums.com, 1919a4.com. I was going to order a Yugo M92(krink) parts kit from them and was told it was a bad idea.

A few other places to avoid at all costs...Blachthorne(used to be Hesse, then Vulcan Arms) they have probably changed their name again. Probably the worst company out there now is Allied Armement out of Cali, AA has ripped off numerous people.
